*** Update – The National Weather Service Has Issued a Blizzard Warning For Our Area***

The National Weather Service has issued a Blizzard Warning for our area. The warning will be in effect from this evening, January 3rd, 2018, at 9:00 p.m. through 7:00 p.m on Thursday Evening, January 4th, 2018.  Heavy snow is possible.  Plan on difficult travel conditions, especially during the morning commute. Total snow accumulations of 6 t0 10 inches are possible (Southern and Central New Jersey). Strong winds (Gusts up to 50 mph) may result in considerable drifting of snow and reductions in visibility. Scattered power outages could develop Thursday and Friday.

Please remember to remove all parked vehicles from the roadways in Lacey Township as required by ordinance.  Keeping the roadways clear during and after a snow fall is necessary so the Lacey Township Department of Public Works can effectively clear the snow from the streets.  Vehicles left in the roadway may be ticketed and towed.

As always, residents that live in the low-lying areas within the township may park their vehicles in Gille Park near the hockey rink (102 Manchester Avenue).

Furthermore, please make sure all portable basketball hoops, garbage cans, etc… are removed from the roadway. Garbage and recycling pickup for Thursday, January 4, 2018 has been cancelled.

I would like to thank everyone in advance for complying with these requests.

Thank you.
